The conference program is structured in thematic blocks, combining lectures and panel discussions on the most topical issues.

The content of the blocks is prepared in such a way as to create a comprehensive picture for the audience, alternating between an overview of the issues and examples of already implemented projects. A moderated discussion will provide ample time to answer your questions.

The conference will also include presentations of vehicles and other products and services for electromobility and the opportunity for test drives.

The conference will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech/English.

program

We will focus on the traditional "electric vehicle agenda", such as fleet electrification or the development of charging infrastructure, but we will also focus on current topics such as the rapid emergence of Chinese brands and the upcoming price comparability of electric vehicles with combustion vehicles. The electrification of freight transport, electromobility in cities, and where hydrogen will play a role in road transport will also be part of the agenda.

The conference program is structured in thematic blocks, combining lectures and panel discussions. As in previous editions, managers and experts involved in the development of battery and hydrogen electromobility, whether in technology development, business, infrastructure development or legislation, are addressed as speakers.

The content of the sessions is designed to give the audience a comprehensive picture of the subject. A moderated discussion will provide ample time to answer your questions.

The conference will also include presentations of vehicles and other products and services for electromobility and the opportunity for test drives.

The conference will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech/English.

2024: Program blocks

Global Perspective

  • Comparing developments in Europe, Asia and the United States.
  • Inspiration from China and how it is with the expansion into Europe.
  • The EV supply chain and its perspective.
  • Where are the risks of electromobility and what to do about it (in the Czech Republic)?

Vehicle Technology

  • Technology trends (800V architecture, 48V low-voltage system, steer-by-wire...).
  • New battery types, what they are, when they will be and what will be the impact on the price.
  • Update on comparisons of internal combustion, battery and hydrogen powertrains.
  • How about the flammability and extinguishability of electric vehicles.

Developing charging infrastructure

  • Trends in charging technologies and charging network development.
  • How the Czech Republic is doing in infrastructure development and service provision.
  • Can smart charging reduce costs for users? By how much?
  • Subsidies for charging development.

Fleet Electrification

  • Electric vehicles are already paying off in many applications (lower TCO than internal combustion vehicles).
  • Are there already enough suitable models for mass electrification of fleets?
  • What are the main issues a company needs to address when switching to electromobility?
  • Project examples.

Funding

  • News from the financing of electromobility.
  • Trust in batteries and the development of the secondary market.
  • Is/will the price of CO2 be an incentive?
  • Subsidies and other incentives.

Electrification of freight transport

  • What is the reality, is it going big? Can we expect an analogue of passenger transport?
  • What vehicles are available, what are their parameters and how much do they cost?
  • How will depot and public charging evolve?
  • Examples of electrification of light and heavy vehicles.

Hydrogen in road transport

  • Diversifying zero-emission powertrains: going all in on batteries could be a risk in Europe.
  • Heavy and special vehicles. Buses especially in winter and on hilly terrain?
  • In the early market, self-consumption production projects have prospects. Examples.
  • Legislative developments: RFNBO and other hydrocarbons.

Urban and suburban electromobility

  • Overview: i) passenger transport, ii) supply and services, iii) buses
  • Is each segment developing separately or are there synergies? Public-private cooperation?
  • Key questions for cities to address. Comprehensive low-carbon transport strategies.
  • Examples of urban projects from abroad.
